'Windansea, Seadragon and Mrs M are the three vineyard sources of this brilliant Pinot Noir. Showing a hint of whole bunch spice, it's a pale, floral, balletic wine that pirouettes across the palate, with notes of wild herbs and textured red fruits. 2019-26.' - Tim Atkin MW, SA Special Report 2018, 95/100
'From all soils of farm's sites, 2017 resumes remarkable 5-star track record after blip in 2016 (4.5 stars, 94 pts). Perfumed by cranberries and violets; denser fruit substrata from clay-rich vineyards; then firm structure from higher-lying gravel, with Burgundian oak boost. Finesse, elegance, complexity.' - Platter's SA Wine Guide 2019, 5* (95/100)
'Stick your nose in your glass and you will initially encounter very expressive, lifted aromatics of strawberry, cherry and musk but later some earthiness and spice also become discernible. The palate is very poised, very detailed. Medium bodied in structure, it comes across as seamless with no disconnect from entry through mid-palate to finish (alcohol: 13.4%). Pure, fresh and possessing wonderfully supple tannins, it moves really well in the mouth. Super-sexy!' - Christian Eedes, Winemag.co.za, 94/100 (Dec 2018)
