Notes
Burt Groedel is an American artist and designer best known for his whimsical and surreal designs created for Edward Fields, the luxury carpet and rug manufacturer based in the United States. He created a number of carpets for Fields, often featuring surrealist and modernist figurative imagery.
Works such as this were typically one-of-a-kind or produced in limited editions for upmarket interiors.
