A Chinese blue and white vase, Qing Dynasty, 18th/19th century the ovoid body painted with two medallions, one enclosing a pair of cranes amongst waterlilies and blooms, the other with sprays of prunus and further blooms, enclosed by scrolling foliage and flowerheads, the neck with a band of eight Buddhist emblems, the sides applied with elephant-mask handles, raised on a low conforming foot, underglaze-blue six-character Qianlong mark, 14,1cm high
