the centre painted with a prunus tree enclosed by a double blue-line border with two sprays of prunus blossom enclosed by ruyi-heads, the cavetto painted with twelve panels each enclosing various blooms and sprays of foliage, the border with twelve similar panels enclosed by diaper bands, sienna-glazed rim, the reverse loosely painted with two sprays of foliage, rivetted hairline crack, 39,1cm diameter
