A pair of Japanese cloisonné dishes, Meiji period, 1868-1912

circular, each enamelled with a blossoming tree above sprays of flowers, enclosed by a diaper band, the border inlaid with six botehs enclosing flowerheads and a further cartouches joined by a band inlaid with diamond motifs, gilded rim, the reverse inlaid with a wave motif, raised on a low foot, 30,2cm diameter
