'A blend of 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Petit Verdot and 10% Merlot, at a decade old, the 2001 Cabernet Sauvignon has a lovely, ripe, well-defined bouquet with attractive tarry notes suffusing the dense black fruit. The palate is very well balanced with a supple entry, good acidity, rounded blackberry, red currant and licorice that leads to a very youthful, almost opulent plush finish.
