Notes

In 2016, Lawrence Chait was commissioned by the law firm RFI Attorney's to produce two sculptures for their new office block in Rosebank, Johannesburg. The two bronzes selected to produce on large scale for the firm were Mother & Child, and The Four of Us. The original sculpture of The Four of Us measured 42cm which was then transcribed into a larger, 2-meter-high version (the present lot) which stood in the front of their office building.
