Notes

Globe was established prior to the Ceramic Studio by English brothers Albert and J Walker. The location was in close geographical proximity to the Ceramic Studio site but the relationship seems to have been terse due to alleged plagiarism around Linn Ware's distinctive turquoise glazes.

In 1957 due to antiquated production methods and an inability to stay ahead of public taste, Globe was sold and amalgamated with Elwood Pottery.

Provenance

The Floranelle Bird Collection
