the rectangular top above three central conforming drawers, the top drawer felt-lined and partitioned, flanked by two drop-down doors each enclosing shelves and compartments, raised on tapering square-section legs.

Notes

Alongside other noteworthy designers, EE Meyer was one of South Africa's most renowned furniture makers during the mid-century period and produced exceptional quality furniture.

While influenced by Danish designers, Meyer followed his own lead and developed a unique design language that is seen as truly South African. Note the beautiful clean lines and the warm tones of the Imbuia wood.
