the quadrant-shaped top painted with a pastoral scene within scrolling foliate borders, above a single door similarly painted enclosing two shelves, with canted bombe corners and shaped apron, raised on splayed bracket feet, 89cm high, 68cm wide, 54cm deep
Notes
Adams studied in Italy which was to prove the dominant influence in his life. He worked with artists like Angelica Kauffmann who painted classical and romantic landscapes for his interiors.
