Critics Ratings
'Superfine, with tobacco, chocolate, vanilla and fruit aromas and flavors. Full-bodied yet reserved, followed by a long silky finish. Drinkable now.' - Wine Spectator, 91/100 (Oct 1994)
'Bottle variation at first seemed a problem, but recent tastings of this wine have been consistent. This is a medium-bodied, spicy, plummy, cherryish-flavored wine, with good extract, an appealing texture, and pleasant finish. It could use more flavor dimension and depth as the wine is compact. Anticipated maturity: Now.' - Robert Parker, Wine Advocate (Dec 1989)
