Notes
Konfoors each had their own patterns and decorative piercings which served as ventilation and were characteristic of a specific maker. Inside the konfoor, is a spherical 'tessie' which was the receptacle for the live coals.
Thomas Falck was born in Robertson in 1898 and learnt the copper-smith's trade as an apprentice in the workshop of F. J. Staal.
