6 x 750ml bottles, comprising a vertical collection of two bottles of each of the following wines: Rijk’s CWG Pinotage 2014, 2015, 2016
This is a unique selection comprising of three vintages of the Rijk’s CWG Pinotage made by Pierre Wahl for past Cape Winemakers Guild Auctions.
The grapes for these wines were hand-picked at night. Cold maceration prior to fermentation. Pigeage took place three times a day to extract tannin and colour. Skins were pressed at 4° Balling. Malolactic fermentation was completed in barrels, racked, returned and left to mature for 22 months in new and second-fill French oak barrels.
Ageing potential of 20 years from vintage.
This wine is packed in a wooden box.
