Serenity is a seamless blend of three varietals – Pinot Noir, Cinsault and cool-climate Pinotage.
The emphasis remains entirely on style, rather than cultivar make-up. After all, cultivars are merely vehicles to express terroir, and not the expression of a wine itself. This wine has the confidence to ‘whisper’ style, rather than ‘shout’. It celebrates the virtues of restraint, poise and tension, promising to be immensely companiable, entertaining and always charming.
This is neither a “Rhône” nor a “Bordeaux” blend; this is a truly South African blend of Pinotage and its parents. Uniqueness right there!
