'Saturated medium red. Wild, musky aromas of redcurrant, coffee and smoke. Large-scaled and sweet for a wine from this vineyard, but also complex and suave, if rather closed at present. Shows an intriguing mineral quality as well as lower-pitched earth tones. Distinctly gamey today: be sure to decant this if you want to try a bottle anytime soon.
