stitched with a rondel of Immortals enclosed by a border of seven squirrels, the foreground with a pair of dog-of-fo chasing brocaded balls, the sky with insects, eight bats and butterflies, headed by a later stitched panel of Buddhist emblems against a green ground, the whole enclosed by ribbons of flowers, unexamined out of the frame, 95 by 91cm; and another, Sichuan province, 20th century, woven with archaic vessels, Buddhist emblems and vases of flowers on a grey ground, unglazed, 101,5cm square
