A pair of Chinese famille-rose vases, Qing Dynasty, 19th century each hexagonal body painted with continuous scenes of courtiers and warriors in battle, enclosed by foliate, fruit and phoenix borders, the shoulders modelled in relief with chilong and dogs-of-fo, the neck with further painted panels of courtiers and ruyi-head border, the foot with key-fret and peony-head bands, chips, 60,5cm high (2)
