of South African interest, the 8,5cm enamel dial with roman numerals, inscribed MAPPIN & WEBB, LONDON & JOHANNESBURG, the back plate stamped and engraved ABEC (All British Escapements Company ) with anchor escapement, the arched case inlaid with ebonized stringing, raised on a moulded ebonized base and brass feet, not in working order, 16,5cm high
