the 8,5cm dial with black Arabic numerals and seconds, with anchor escapement, the architectural case inlaid with ebonized chequer-board stringing, scrolls and geometric motifs, the stepped moulded top headed by a brass final, the sides with turned brass knobs, raised on a moulded plinth base, on compressed brass feet, not in working order, the base stamped BTG and numerals 5032, 24,5cm high
