with tortoiseshell guards and sticks, the fabric leaf hand-painted with orchids and butterflies, signed 'Dufrennes',35cm long; a Spanish tortoiseshell and painted vellum fan, early 20th century, J Sanches, with tortoiseshell guards and sticks, painted with a guitarist serenading loving couples, young women and an old woman at her spinning wheel, signed and titled 'Jitanos en al Albaicin (Grenanda)', chip to the tortoiseshell, 34,5cm long; a tortoiseshell and Chantilly de Bayeux lace brisé fan, late 19th/early 20th century, with tortoiseshell guards and sticks, with black lace leaf, minor damage, 24,5cm long, cased; and a French black-printed and paper fan, late 19th/early 20th century, Henry à la Pensée, with black lacquer guards and sticks carved with flowers and foliage, the paper leaf printed with a pair of maidens amongst flowering blossoms, some staining, 21,5cm long
