A George III silver coffee pot, unidentified maker CB, London, 1770
the baluster body body engraved with rocaille work, the spout moulded in relief with foliage and a line of graduated bosses, with leaf-capped scroll handle, the hinged cover with conforming decoration and bell-shaped finial, raised on a reeded and gadrooned circular foot, 1025g all in, 30,5cm high
