signed and inscribed "S.A. Joh-burg 1907"
bronze with rich brown patina
height: 42cm


Sold together with a copy of the original presentation letter, printed dedication sheets, and signatures of the subscribers bound in a tooled leather cover with the recipients names and date on the front cover. Also included are copies of the programme for the Solemn Internment of his honour Marthinus Theunis Steyn on Sunday 3rd December 1916.

A gift to President Marthinus Theunis Steyn and his wife Isabella Steyn-Fraser on the occasion of their silver wedding aniversary, 10 March 1912, from the Zuid Afrikaansche Vrouwen Federatie.
