Notes
The Scottish architect Duthie Ritchie, one of the senior partners of the firm Stucke, Harrison, Ritchie & Watson, created this perspective illustration of the firm's design for the South African Mutual Life Assurance Society (Old Mutual) building, in Harrison Street, Johannesburg. Stucke & Harrison was originally established in Cape Town in 1892, and it still practices, now under the name Stucke Harrison Architects. The present owner is an architect who worked in the practice under Duthie Ritchie.
