Back Story: A picture taken during a morning walk on the Sea Point promenade – for me, an image of calm contentment in the new Covid-19 normal, masked people taking up their places at the appropriate distance, happy in their own skin.
This image was submitted to Stilled Life, a community photographic platform launched to give South Africans a place to share their Covid-19 stories, and has been selected as one of the top 100 images that will be on view at the 2020 RMB Turbine Art Fair. The proceeds of the sale of this lot will benefit the BASA Artists Relief Fund.
