Back Story: Paper negative, captured and developed from a home made camera. Creating portraits of people without having to be in the same room as them, I developed a new way to continue photography.
This image was submitted to Stilled Life, a community photographic platform launched to give South Africans a place to share their Covid-19 stories, and has been selected as one of the top 100 images that will be on view at the 2020 RMB Turbine Art Fair. The proceeds of the sale of this lot will benefit the BASA Artists Relief Fund.
