The Tinta Barocca 2016 was made from a 43-year-old, south-facing vineyard in Bot River, grown in Bokkeveld shale soil.
Winemakers personal tasting note:
'Fresh red cherries, purple plums and spicy tea leaf notes on the nose with a vibrant and perfumed palate. This wine has a beautiful texture with well-integrated tannins making it a wonderful pairing for a variety of meat and spicy dishes, especially Portuguese food.' - Marelise Niemann
