the hinged fall-front inlaid with a brass plaque, with gilt-tooled green leather writing slide, ruler, ink and pen compartments, with tambour enclosing further stationery compartments, cubby-holes, small drawers and three drawers, the front with a frieze drawer, the sides with brass carrying-handles, 23cm high, 48cm wide, 38cm deep
