the hinged rectangular top inset with a brass plaque inscribed "B Reece", enclosing a gilt-tooled green leather writing surface, ink compartments and a secret well, the sides with recessed carrying-handles, 18cm high, 50,5cm wide, 27cm deep,  on a later mahogany stand, rectangular on tapering legs, 40cm high, 52cm wide, 29cm deep
