the ovoid body moulded with geometric panels of blue, yellow and pale pink against a black ground highlighted with cream-glazed slip, the side applied with a strap handle, signed 'ORIGINAL G. Spörri Schaffhausen F57', 36cm high

Gustav Spörri - 1948 - 1964 künstlerischer Leiter der Tonwarenfabrik Ziegler AG in Schaffhausen. Um 1950 bis 1976 eigens Atelier.
