Hugo Neirinckx was born in Anderlecht in 1942 and passed away in 2024.
His poems, prose, and articles have appeared domestically and internationally in the following magazines: Argo, Verba, Kruispunt, Gierik, Literair Bulletin, Eksit, Odeon, Anderland, The Chain, Ophir and Wurm. He published about ten books and poetry collections, as well as many historical and tourist articles. His poems appeared in English, French, Breton, Spanish, Catalan, and South African translations.
