A Chinese blue and white vase, Qing Dynasty, late 19th century of baluster outline with everted hexagonal petal-shaped rim, the sides and shoulders applied with dogs of Fo and chilong, the front and reverse painted with two birds amongst flowering blossom and butterflies, underglaze four-character mark, firing fault to rim, 20cm high
