Notes
Produced during the Art Deco period, this Lalique 'Aras' vase takes its name from the Ara macaw parrot. The design features stylised parrots in relief amidst fruiting branches and tropical foliage.
The blue patinated description refers to a tinted compound treatment rubbed over the surface after production that sits in recesses and emphasises the relief. It is a semi-permanent treatment that wears with age.
