Indian wool rugs are famous for their durability, resilience, and unique texture, largely due to the specific types of sheep native to the region. Indian artisans hand-weave the thick wool into highly pronounced, architectural valleys, so one side of the rib catches the light while the opposite side casts a subtle shadow.
