René Lalique
René Lalique 'St James' frosted and clear glass coupe, No. 3321, designed 1935
ZAR 11 000
About this Item
sand-blasted stencil 'R.LALIQUE FRANCE'
Notes
'Saint-James' was designed twelve years before Lalique's death and during the final period of his creative glass production.
The decorative spiralling rim is a sophisticated take on classical 'key and wave-scroll' borders, reinterpreting Art Deco design language in the machine-age.
