Côtes du Rhône 2002
About this Item
Coudoulet de Beaucastel is the Côtes du Rhône of Château de Beaucastel, from the Perrin family's vineyards across the road from the great Châteauneuf estate, a Grenache-Mourvèdre-Syrah-Cinsault blend often called a 'baby Beaucastel'. 2002 was a difficult, rain-affected southern Rhône vintage, so severe that Beaucastel declassified much of its crop. Jancis Robinson gave it 16.5 out of 20.
