To celebrate a decade since 2016, this special collection of two rare and highly-rated Mullineux magnums offers a unique opportunity to explore one of the Mullineux cornerstone varieties, Syrah, through their defining Swartland soils: GRANITE and SCHIST.

Mullineux GRANITE Syrah 2016 (1.5L)
From 28-year-old dry-land bush vines rooted in the decomposed granite of the Paardeberg, this elegant Swartland Syrah is the most perfumed wine in Mullineux's single-terroir range. Whole-cluster fermentation it's floral notes, fresh loganberry, and fine-grained tannins with a delicately aeromatic palate. Built to age.

Mullineux SCHIST Syrah 2016 (1.5L)
From a single 28-year-old vineyard rooted in the Schist soils of Roundstone on the Kasteelberg, this full-bodied Swartland Syrah delivers black pepper,dark fruit, and mulling spices with remarkable structure and mid-palate density that are intesified by the fermentation practices. With an ageing potential of 15-25 years, this is a serious collector's wine.

Each wine was made with low intervention, indigenous yeast fermentation, and élevage to best reflect the soils beneath the vines and the Swartland's untamed beauty. These large formats are ideal for ageing and sharing, and each bottle is a personal expression of site, soil, and soul. Mullineux is the Swartland winery of Mullineux & Leeu Family Wines.
