About this Item
The Max is a Stellenbosch Bordeaux-style blend named after Miles and Sam's son, Maximilian. It is crafted from specially selected vineyards across the wider Stellenbosch region, reflecting a thoughtful expression of place and intent.
Produced in a style that balances elegance with power, it is approachable in its youth yet built to reward careful ageing for 15 years and beyond.
The 2020 vintage is a blend of 56% Cabernet Sauvignon, 23% Merlot, 15% Petit Verdot, and 6% Cabernet Franc. The wine was matured for 21 months in 225 litre French oak barrels, with 22% new oak, before being bottled unfiltered and unfined to preserve purity and detail.
Only 60 bottles were produced, making this an exceptionally rare and highly collectible release.
The bottle is packed in a wooden box.
