Notes
Neil Rodger was an artist who strongly assumed the role of 'image-maker', opting to depict beauty and serenity, working within the bounds of European tradition. Most notable from his oeuvre are his depictions of the nude, composed as sensual and detached, often not meeting the gaze of the viewer.
