The Antinori family has produced wine in Tuscany since 1385, making them one of the longest continuously running family wine businesses in the world. The Marchese Antinori Chianti Classico Riserva is sourced exclusively from the family's Tignanello estate in Panzano in Chianti and is a Sangiovese-dominant blend with Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, designed as a more accessible expression of this iconic hillside terroir alongside the celebrated Tignanello Super Tuscan. The 2017 was a warm and expressive Chianti Classico vintage producing open-knit, approachable wines of good character. Antonio Galloni from Vinous gave it a rating of 91.
