Muga
Rioja Reserva 2015
Spain
About the SessionRioja anchors the Spanish session with a depth and breadth that rewards both traditionalists and modern-style enthusiasts. La Rioja Alta is the most extensively represented producer, with Gran Reserva 904 spanning multiple vintages and formats, alongside the classic Reservas - Viña Ardanza, Viña Alberdi, and Viña Arana. Beyond Rioja, Sierra Cantabria delivers some of the most sought-after names in the sale. Their single-vineyard Amancio across 2002 and 2007, the Finca El Bosque, and the Colección Privada 2003 represent the very top of the Rioja hierarchy.

About this Item
Rioja Reserva 2015
1 (1 x 1) 750ml
From the same traditional Haro house, the Muga Reserva is the estate’s benchmark wine, a Tempranillo-led Rioja Alta blend with Garnacha, Mazuelo and Graciano, fermented in oak vats and aged in cask before release. It is the more accessible expression of the Muga style, combining classic woodsmoke, red-berry and savoury notes with the freshness of the high western reaches of the region. The 2015 was a warm, ripe vintage in Rioja.
