'2015 was the first vintage to be made in Sijnn's own cellar in Malgas and is surely the best release yet of this wild, unruly blend of Syrah, Touriga Nacional, Tinta Amarela, Mourvèdre and Cabernet Sauvignon. Inky and intense, it has grippy tannins, layers of incense and fynbos and a core of darkly assertive fruit. 2020-30– Tim Atkin MW, SA Special Report 2018, 95/100
'Composed of a blend of Syrah, Touriga Nacional, Trincadeira, Mourvedre and Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2015 Red Blend bursts from the glass with classic Syrah aromas of dusty black fruits, black peppercorn, cassis and blackcurrant. Full-bodied and sophisticated, the palate is rich and full of flavor with dusty blackberries, mocha and black spices with roasted coffee beans. The wine concludes with a bold long, black-fruited grip and structuring tannins on the finish that delivers pleasure. I recommend decanting this wine at least 20 minutes before you enjoy it. 2020-2028' - Anthony Mueller, Wine Advocate, 90/100 (Mar 2020)
