Notes
These vessels were woven by Sibongile Kanyile, formerly of Waaihoek in Northern KZN. She now resides in the Ladysmith area. This was created at least 10 years ago, when the weaving group Sizwe Umoya experimented with weaving copper wire around traditional handmade pots and then breaking them out once they were woven with wire.
