Peggy Delport, born 1937, is a South African artist whose work spans printmaking, serigraphy, and painting. She is also a cultural heritage practitioner and a founder trustee of the District Six Museum in Cape Town, where she created murals and contributed to the museum’s visual and exhibition work. Delport’s art often depicts local life, animals, people and domestic scenes in expressive colours and forms and her works have been exhibited and auctioned internationally.
