engraved 'D Reade 09'
hand-blown glass
height: 37cm; diameter: 22cm
Notes
David Read's work is deeply informed by the African landscape, particularly the arid regions of the Karoo and Namibia. The form of this vase recalls geological formations and wind-shaped terrain while the colours are reminiscent of the changing light at dawn and dusk.
