About this Item
A Signed Magnum of Hamilton Russell Vineyards Pinot noir and a vertical tasting for 6 guests in the barrel cellar
Hamilton Russell Vineyards pioneered viticulture and winemaking in the beautiful, cool, maritime, Hemel-en-Aarde Valley appellation, just behind the old fishing village of Hermanus. The Estate specialises in producing highly individual, terroir driven Pinot noir and Chardonnay, which are widely regarded as among the finest in the New World.
The vines grow in ancient Bokkeveld Shale-derived, stoney, clay-rich soils, giving naturally low yields and small berries. The team is dedicated to expressing the personality of these vines and the unique characters of each new vintage, by producing a single estate grown Pinot noir and single estate grown Chardonnay.
The lot includes a signed, limited release magnum of Pinot noir 2023 (the estate’s 43rd vintage) in a beautiful wooden case together with a private tasting by winemaker Emul Ross in the Hamilton Russell Vineyards barrel maturation cellar.
