About this Item
Notes
"I am using a cows head for a couple of reasons. The most direct connotations of course is that to Damien Hirst's Golden Calf that optimizes the current high point in art acquisition. (The work sold for R1.4 billion at the Sotheby's auction 2008). The cow heads remind of things that grow, ready for picking, also in reference to fruits of our labour. The cow as currency in Africa, and the reference to our stock exchange markets (Bull and Bear)."
Angus Taylor, 2010
