In Murano glass, the term 'cornucopia', is loosely applied to flared, scalloped or asymmetrical vases that echo the abundant, curved lines of the cornucopia symbol. This symbol is a 'horn of plenty', a horn-shaped basket overflowing with fruits, vegetables and natural bounty, symbolising abundance and prosperity.
