Notes
Steen Ostergaard started his education as a furniture architect at the famous School of Arts & Crafts in Copenhagen, Denmark in 1957.
Before opening his own design studio in 1965, Ostergaard worked in Finn Juhl's studio where he contributed to the development of several high quality designs. The first product that he designed was the CADO 290 seat (1968), which was manufactured by Paul Cadovius in 1970.
This chair was the first plastic seat manufactured in a single piece using seamless injection-moulding. The stackable design makes it perfect for small spaces.
