CWG Cabernet Reserve 2005
6 (1 x 6) 750ml
A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon from two Stellenbosch vineyards with a splash of Petit Verdot. Fermented in open tanks, basket pressed and matured in 225 Litre French oak barrels for 28 months. 90 cases of this wine were sold on the 2009 Auction.
Winemaker Tasting note: Dark ruby with a slight garnet edge. Aromas and flavours of violets, red berries and cassis with some mocha and cedar. Lively on the palate with robust, ripe tannins that will enable this wine to develop and improve for at least 8 years from vintage.
