About this Item

A collection of six Chinese hardwood stands, Qing Dynasty, 18th/19th century possibly hongmu and zitan, comprising: two square examples, one surmounted by a turned pedestal, the other with pierced bat and scrolling foliage apron; three circular, one with pierced apron, one with pierced dragon stretcher raised on dragon-carved legs, with character marks to the reverse, and one of lotus form; and one rectangular, the pedestal base carved with lotus and scrolling tendrils, minor restorations, the largest 7cm high, 17,5cm square (6)

Provenance

Purchased by the current owner in the 1980s in London.
